First of all if you’ve never read Scott Pilgrim, you should it’s a piece of work, and you can tell there was a lot of grow, and advancement during the writing process. If you haven’t seen the movie, you’re missing a genius piece of pop culture. There’s just so much in the movie that you have to look for. It’s like “Where’s Waldo” in movie form…or a really good game of “Eye Spy.”

The best commentary is with Edgar Wright, and Bryan Lee O’malley, the creator. Where they literally talk about the creative process, but a close second is the one with Micheal Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Brandon Routh, and Ellen Wong. They point out all of the extra things that go on during the movie that you really don’t pay attention to. Like in the scene where Scott talks to Ramona at the party, and theres a light switch in the top left hand corner of the screen, just out of Scotts reach. It doesn’t really have much meaning, but every commentary mentions it. It’s really interest and I recommend you give it a watch…if nothing else it’s good back ground noise. This makes Scott Pilgrim one of my favorite movies of all time…even if you don’t like it, I’m sure it will make for a good drinking game.
