“…don’t judge a person, unless you have talked to them one on one. I don’t care what the story is, do not judge them because it is a lie.” – Michael Jackson

That best sums up Wreck-it-Ralph. Even in the world of video games not everyone is as they seem. Like us the world of Wreck-it-Ralph establishes the world of video games with everyone having a job. One where there are protagonist and antagonist. Some games like Street Fighter have multiple villians, and other have one like Fix-it-Felix Jounior, the game Ralph hails from. The citizen of which don’t actually know Ralph, much less take the time to get to know him. In a sense, this movie is about the human inability to properly judge a person based off their cover.

The gimmic for this movie is what catches the eye, but what actually makes this a wonderful movie is the personal struggle we all face when dealing with rejection. Ralph’s own problems tend to pale when it comes to his co-star Venillope’s own rejection. Without giving too much away, she is a pariah in her own game.

This movie in that of itself is for those of us who’ve been really “cast” aside. It’s for gamers and most people can relate to the message that’s being sent here. I can’t really say enough good things about the movie. It’s very well written, and the characters are all relatable, or we know a few of the cameos, and this movie is FULL of them. I have to say it’s total genius. Best video game movie since Scott Pilgrim, and Gamer. Amazing job Disney. Keep up the good work.
